Dont know that source but think it was Romano who responded to it by confirming it was true and I thought he was supposed to be reliable enough.

Maybe it’s already done behind the scenes, deals are getting done weeks and sometimes months ahead. You could’ve bet your house that a CB would be a quick one for us this year.

Anyway, I’m not arsed when any deal is made public. I just want all our incoming deals completed by June so that Klopp has ample time to work with them.

On the bench again today. He’s only completed 90 minutes 4 times in the league outside when he’s been injured. In the starting eleven only 7 out of 22 games he’s been available. Playing time rather sporadic. Hardly encouraging unless there’s more to it.
Not sure why we don’t get Botman instead.
I fully expect that this deal can fail as Konate will likely fail medical tests.
Could easily be because they know he’s leaving and don’t want to jeopardize the potential cash coming in.
