This is getting ridiculous. I don’t know if it’s worse for the club to spend 60-70m on Sarr or to find out who is next on that wish list. Jordan Ayew!?
I have no idea what we’ll do with our current players anyway, so as far as I’m concerned, I have no issues if we just end our transfer window as it is.
Come back more organized next time when we sort our shit together.

I don’t think there is anything much in this, I can’t see us going back after 50m he isn’t worth that, you could restructure it but that’s about it.
At this rate, I would rather get elliot fit instead. This is horrendous. Why the hell did we sold Diaz then, if we are going to spend 50 million quid on a guy turning 29.
Whole thing smacks of desperation…and it is not acceptable at a club like ours. Hughes should have been sent on gardening leave instead and someone else should have been given the reigns. It’s like he is deliberately setting Iraola to fail.
Breaking- Liverpool bid £80m for Pedro Neto. They have been closely tracking him for the last 17 years.
Beggars can’t be choosers.
Harvey + a couple of shinpads?
One night I was walking home from the bars and stopped at a hot dog cart. I was walking home thinking about a conversation I had just had and was feeling a bit self conscious about the amount of charity and service (not even church related) this woman I’d been chatting with does. Do I do enough for other people? Anyway, I get about 10 steps away from the hot dog cart and homeless person sleeping outside the city library asked me for money. I dont carry cash so I had nothing to give him, so temporarily feeling a need to be more charitable, I offered him my hot dog. He said “I fucking hate hot dogs.”
So it turns out, they actually can.
I’m a bit surprised that Hughes is again trying to get fleeced… err… to get someone from Palace after what happened last summer. I for one wouldn’t touch them with a bargepole.
Bloke has no shame.
What are you bringing me into this for?
To be somewhat fair, maybe we just said “how much for Sarr?”, thinking they might say 20 mil.
They then said 50mil and we´re like “nah”, and no bid.
Wouldn´t be that terrible if it was something like that. Not that I would sign Sarr even for 20mil unless it was to re-sell.

This is predictable…
Palace were reportedly holding out for 60m euros from Fenerbache before that move broke down. That works out to roughly £50m, which is what we’ve apparently offered, so I expect the club have a view as to how quickly this can be done, and how quickly they will walk away if it doesnt look like it can progress.
And critically, while the concern with dealing with Palace again is understandable, the big challenge with last year’s mess has been resolved. Palace now have a dedicated person responsible for making these decisions who has authority within the club and can provide clarity to those in discussions with them. That was not the place last year and was the primary source of the lack of conviction on their end.
This reeks of total desperation. Is there no interim option we can rely on for a year until Rayan’s release clause activates/drops to something manageable?
Presumably we won’t be the only interested party in Rayan…
Maybe we’re just worried that our data has gone stale and we need to go and get a broad sample of what clubs want for a certain caliber of player to plug into our excel doc before recalibrating the model and then running the “how much should we pay for Barcola” prompt again.

Not a transfer i would be optimistic about, but if he does join I hope I’m wrong about him and he smashes it.
