Leao isn’t average. In a sense, he is far worse. He produces occasional flashes of absolutely elite talent and athletic ability where he is absolutely unstoppable, and then absolutely drifts. There are very few players with more potential in the game, but he is 27 now. He is a proverbial coach-killer.
Might have been worth a shot with someone like Klopp, absolutely not the kind of player you want to bring in for a new manager.
