James MILNER: 2020/21

Milner is fucking class.

Imagine a team of James Milners…

Sounds like a good idea for a song…

Millie is one of these players where you’d want to be able to stop the clock ticking. He’ll be a big, big loss for us when he retires.

Modric is 35 and signing an extension, I think like Milner has a year or so still to give.

Even when Milner does hang up his boots I hope he joins the coaching staff, I think he has huge amounts to give.

I love Milner and what he brings to this team but Modrić is a different class to majority of midfielders currently playing, even at 35 years of age. He’s the White Wizard of football, there’s no other way I can explain his quality.

Millie is one player who constantly gets written off and almost always proves he’s still more than useful.

Fantastic player who finds space and always seems to have time, unless Milly is nearby

What I love about Milly he is an hardmans hardman, he just gets on with it no noise just guns players down without any fuss

That tackle on Benzema… brilliant

Nothing like a good block tackle to put a bit of aggression in to

I fervently hope he ends his career with Liverpool and with few more trophies.

Yeah @Iftikhar could’nt agree more, wish we could turn the clock back a few years for him.
He will be a huge loss when he does hang his boots up, just hope he stay’s on in some capacity.

That pic should be Tottenham v Liverpool in 06/07 0-1, King Luis.

Milly is a class act.

I know this PL Hall of Fame thing is new but I would induct him straight away even if he is still playing.

I wish players would visit and spend some time with the family, not in front of cameras, rather than sending a message. Not just in this case.

It would mean so much for the fans.

Agreed iftikhar. Not sure whether the letter was put on social media by the family (fine) or James (less cool). Ultimately though I think what he writes here is heartfelt and (although he may have had help to pitch it just right) the message is the decent and good thing to do. But I agree that I’m much more of a fan of the direct response and certainly wary when stuff is put on social media by those providing the well wishes (although sometimes there may be no other way).

Absolutely. This guy is gold.

I very much doubt Milner would post the letter on social media. He’s far too modest for that.

Absolutely. I think the letter was sent by post/couriers.
