January Transfer Window 2022

Wasn’t that just because he had YNWA tattoo and was trying to endear himself the everton fans?

I may have misremembered this.

secured against what, is probably the point.

for the shit show they apparently have there right now, its hard to imagine whos loaning them a lazy half a bil just to invest in an asset that can depreciate to nothing pretty quickly after purchase

I see Dortmund want haaland saga sorted.
If it’s true and we are worth £3 billion as recently reported, it’s criminal we aren’t even in the conversation.
Seems FSG expect miracles every year from Klopp so they don’t have to put hand in their pockets.
Would love us to sign this lad.

No chance are we signing this Haaland whilst his old man and the parasite of an agent are still in the picture.

We were “linked” (unreliably) with this one.

Brighton has signed two young Polish players last season too. I wonder they are specifically targeting that market.

Yeah, they have Moder, a midfielder who they’ve kept for this season and a defender, who they sent out on loan to Olympiacos. Both Polish. And now Kozlowski. It’s a “colorful” squad. Brighton are creative on and off the pitch.

Trippier to Newcastle looks to be confirmed, £12m.

Has anyone got any insight into why Trippier would leave Atletico (fighting for big trophies and playing regularly as far as I’m aware) to join Newcastle and likely play in the championship next season?? The wage can’t be that much more, Newcastle still have to be within their means.

I hear from a reliable source that he prefers the Newcastle shite weather over the sunshine in Madrid.

English players seem to get homesick often, or at least more reluctant to move abroad in the first place…and he has been touted as moving back since last summer.

He will probably see another jump in salary as his spurs wages would have been very low. Atletico may have paid more, but perhaps not that much more.

I’m not sure Atletico is likely to win anything now, they seem to be going through a rebuilding phase now…perhaps they are driving the move rather than the player?

Trippier who has been caught betting on games? Why would such a clean character want to join a club funded by a murdering state with limitless money?

$$$$

Ive seen a few people saying we have rejected a bid from Newcastle for Nat Phillips. No idea if true.

Hopefully it’s true, we don’t need to be doing business with them.

Hayao Kawabe from Grasshoppers to Wolves for £540k.

From Sky Sports News;

Philippe Coutinho is set to agree a move to a Premier League club this weekend, with five English clubs in a race to sign the Barcelona midfielder.

The former Liverpool player wants to return to England and sign for an ambitious club where he can play regularly.

The 29-year-old, who is also attracting interest from clubs abroad, will decide his next club before this weekend.

Loan for 6 months anyone…

I hear it is Arsenal.

I’d be surprised. They already have Smith Rowe and the Norwegian lad who both play in his like role. Not that they’re better than he is, but why would they take a step back from their organic growth to play a merc for 6 months?
