Jordan Henderson (CM) to Al-Ettifaq

Ali for me if he goes / Ali for me if he stays

A massive payday for his agent also, no doubt.

Isnt his dad his agent?

No idea, he’ll still get a nice wedge I suspect.

A variation on many of my points.

No report from any serious source yet (Romano isn’t a serious source by any stretch of the imagination). Let’s wait and see. I still struggle to understand what Hendo, out of all people, would want to do in the Arab desert. Going by everything he has said and done since he joined us, he did never strike me as a guy who is fixated on money alone.

Yet, what else could attract him to Saudi Arabia? I can’t see anything to be honest.

He can get lots of money and support a food bank. It will make us look really silly then.

Money is certainly one part of it, but two other big parts have to be that 1. he sees that he won’t be getting much game time anyway 2. Steven Gerrard.

I cannot see Hendo going there if Gerrard hadn’t already gone and convinced him to come.

Public executions, amputations, stonings and floggings. The tourist attractions are many.

Playing in a top tier league!

It would be a genius choice to relocate out there and send 1/2 his salary to a local charity. Would be an epic move.

For murder, rape and armed robbery? Yep, having that.

Is it really worth it Hendo

This ain’t confirmed until we see almighty red dancing and singing at a Taylor Swift concert at the Prince Mohammed Bin Fahd stadium

And if someone is innocent? Oops, here’s your arm back?

I didn’t know they had grass in Saudi. I thought it was all sand dunes and camels.

It’s in Croatia.

There’s LOTS of cases where the accused is as guilty as a puppy sat next to a pile of poo. Many of late in the UK.

What’s he doing there? Certainly not coaching!

Some of them are even gay.
Some of them are even reporters who dare to speak the truth.
