Er, no.

No thanks. He can comfort himself from no testimonial with his blood money.

He does. This direction indicates that after last year Klopp’s conversation with him informed him his status will be meaningfully diminished for the coming season after the introduction of 2 new young players and the further development our of Euro winning U21s.

Bowing out at the beginning of the season without the opportunity to get a Bobby like acknowledgment is sad, but that is football. He’ll get his time later.

Testimonials were all about raising a few quid for the player before he retired. He’s not really going to need that.

The fact Reddy is chipping in about the fee tells me he’s probably off.

The battle of reference points.

:joy:

Yuk. Nuff said.

Useless (unless it comes up in a pub quiz) fact: Reference Point won the Derby, King George and St Leger in 1987. Bloody good horse, he was.

Still struggling to belive it… Oh well… That feels a bit surreal imo.

Joyce:

Liverpool would seek a fee in the region of £20 million should the player look to move on.

Liverpool would receive a fee for Henderson should matters progress, although it remains to be seen what the figure would be. It is likely that the £17 million Al-Hilal spent on Chelsea’s Kalidou Koulibaly, who is a year younger than Henderson aged 32, would be a gauge.

Then again this is nothing new.

Really disappointing.

You are guessing at the conversation to be fair.
Klopp may have asked him to stay and lead the club for all you know.

It’s not really our job to speculate or give this much attention to why a player might leave and in any case with Hendo or any other player for that matter that ends up there. It’s straight forward, money money money and only money.

Us as fans should focus on the players that are here and will remain because ultimately this is what matters.

But he would probably take it….you can never have too much money you know…

Every little helps.

Maybe he could do some ads for Tesco when he returns from KSA? :thinking:

If Jorg gets this & Fabinho done, he will have moved over to “sign him permanently” status for me. Edwards or Ward would have wanted unrealistic figures and not budged and inch leading to inevitable failures. Great at buying, terrible at selling.

@DaveOCKOP

EXCLUSIVE: Jordan Henderson has decided he DOES want to accept Al Ettifaq’s offer. It is now up to the clubs finding an agreement as the Saudi side will not pay a large fee.

@JoshLFC1909

Just been told that Jordan Henderson has reached an agreement with Al-Ettifaq. Doubt it was that hard to be honest

IF Hendo does go, Big Virg for captain?
