Jordan Henderson (CM) to Al-Ettifaq

Spotrac use an approximation based on media reports to get a rough average of a players salary, unlike in America where they get given those figures.

£65k seems unlikely but to be honest he’s expensive at half that price.

Think Liverpool might be having a minimum salary cap for first team personnel.

They got it from Spotrac.

But he signed the contract in 2021, about the same time we were giving Konate, a French international we signed for £36m, a contract of about £70k a week.

We’re notoriously conservative with wages, we aren’t paying Nat Phillips £65k a week.

Well if you believe those figures for Nat, the same site reckons Elliott is on about £15k a week. Let’s hope he doesn’t find out about this minimum cap.

Hendo can stay and help bring Lavia through, an u21-about-to-be homegrown player with great potential.

Good insight @rab if Fofana is Fofanucked with injury again, Chelsea will double down on keeping Colwill, and so we will likely turn to an overseas central defender, making Lavia more likely as a homegrown option.

Can we close this thread and move on?

Where to?
Oily Arabia?

One explanation could be that the figure is pre-tax, so in reality Nat is getting £32.5k a week.

All the usual sources, including Joyce, saying he’s not playing later due to the ongoing interest. :eyes:

Hendo not in todays squad for the first pre season match.

/grabs popcorn

The lack of movement since news of interest in Jordan Henderson became public raised the possibility of the England international being left in limbo, but there is an expectation the Saudis will move to get the deal over the line. [

EXCLUSIVE: Liverpool and Al Ettifaq just reached an agreement in principle on fee for Jordan Henderson — here we go! ! Henderson already agreed three year deal last week, documents to be checked then time to sign and move to Saudi.

hendo gone!!

Yeh and several wives.

Well if it is both them and Fabinho, Jorge better get his skates on.

That’s a lot of experience we’ve lost this summer.
