When was he wrong on something he reported ? I cant remember. He is very reliable and you xan trust his word. He is far more reliable than English journos and his contacts is top class. He generally really knows what he is talking about.
The story behind Dortmund buying Bellingham and the story behind Dortmund buying Haaland are very different. Haaland would not have signed for Dortmund without the release clause and they were one of many interested parties at the time. With Bellingham, he was attractive but not hunted in the same way Haaland was and went to Dortmund because they could promise playing time and development. Not the same story. No club wants to have a player with a release clause, but it was the only way they could get Haaland.

I see a lot of arrogance here on Bellingham that I dont understand. Look at where we are at as a club, we are not as atttactive a club as some of the contenders. If he is okay with learning Spanish and dont mind Spain, he will probably go there. I doubt we can compete unless he wants to go here for romantic reasons.

Seems a top bloke but I’m pretty sure he hasn’t got one single one right for us. And I know the English journos are crap. Unless Joyce is reporting it I tend to take it with a pinch of salt.

When was he wrong with something he reported ? Thats news to me. Whenever I have read him and heard him talk, its always with knowledge and authority. He is a bit of a prick as a person but he certainly knows what he is talking about and he has very good contacts. I mean, who is more reliable ? Fabrizio Romano with his contacts maybe, but Jan Åge is generally very solid.
Ok he has amazing contacts and is right about literally every bit of gossip.
I’ll refrain from any opinion or evidently very shoddy memory. I also said nothing about the guy or his analysis which with a brief look he seems to be good at.

A release clause was the price to pay to have Haaland. It wasn’t necessary to sign Bellingham, and indeed clubs do not prefer to have such clauses.

Given all the ‘teasing’ with Bellingham being so pally with Henderson, and Trent, I will be disappointed if we don’t sign him. Not to mention different snippets on social media with his comments and likes and so on.
If we put together a solid package and he doesn’t come, I will be disappointed in Jude Bellingham the person, too. We are led to believe he is level headed, grounded, family are reds, and all the rest of it.
If he has been flirting with us at the nightclub, only to go home with someone else, he’s a tart!
I still think he is coming in the summer, so long as we put a decent package together - not necessarily the best, but competitive enough. We will see.

What a load of Tosh this post is. Honestly, I don’t know where to begin. At the moment we are 1 of the 2 most attractive clubs to play football for. Past history, size of club and recent success.
Now the attraction of City or PSG is basically money. Chelsea or Manure can offer big salaries too. City hsve a great manager, guaranteed trophies, except the champion’s league of course, and Manure are a big club.
You undervalue the club and the pull it has.
They all are. There’s not a single journalist with “contacts”. Paul Joyce is the only one worth listening to because he literally just waits until the club confirm things before he says anything.
