We are much bigger than Newcastle and Klopp is a world class manager. It’s no contest, and hopefully his father also helps to affirm what’s what, as he is a true footballing legend.
With that said, it is not good that we are out of the CL and we need to put that right asap. I think we will. On the Newcastle side, they have CL football which will help them punch above their weight, and obviously the Saudi money - which they have been spending fairly wisely, will only make their threat grow stronger.
The way United’s summer is going thus far, they’re looking like a decent bet to be able to overtake, if we can play all season like we did the past few months of the last one…

IMO… we will have accumulated enough points to be back in the CL by mid February 2024… for the following season obviously :0)

Saw a video the other day and the first thing I thought of was Ronaldinho, in that he looks like he was going to lose the ball but just manages to get his foot to it and glide past the player. Other than that, obviously NOT supposed to be a comparison.

Ruud Gullit or Ruud Dil as his name was when he was born, obvious why he choose his mothers name Gullit as his football name, played mostly as a forward and later on as a sweeper, occasionally he played as a midfielder later on with Chelsea.
To compare the two is ridiculous, well the both of them had rasta hair, that’s about it.

Yeah, I know who he is obviously lol, I just only vaguely remember the very end of his career with Chelsea so no idea how he played in his prime. But, yeah, from what everyone has said it seems a bad comparison.

How can you not remember him running the show at the Euro '88 lol.
The guy was a masterclass and 1 of the best of his era.
If we get 1/3 of the player in Thuram, we’re onto a winner.
