I get that Koeman isnt great, but I think the stories about how his job is in trouble are hysterical. How can decision makers so badly miss the point. Look at the players he’s lost in the past 2 season through no fault of his own. Look at the players they’ve brought in as replacements. That team he put out last night was shit, and its not because hes making odd decisions. Its because they just dont have better.

If you buy a mediocre Depay and a even worse Luuk de Jong jou deserve to be kicked out.
I guess that depends on what the other options were…given the bulk of the new signings were free transfers or loans, I’m not sure he had much choice…
And it’s 2021. Why are we still treating managers as being responsible for who the club signs and sells? I dont have much sympathy for him as he knew it was a poisoned position when he took it, but I dont think he appreciated that it would be quite this bad. But beyond that, my issue is the stupidity of people at barca thinking this the move that will solve their problems.

Their fans sadly think every step taken will solve the problems immediately. All answers are expected right now and they don’t have patience that this may take time. It’s a vicious circle in a way, them wanting immediate success is one of the reason why they are in this state.They are spoilt and it’ll take a while for the reality to kick in for them.
