Leicester, the Foxes thread

The stadium might be relatively new but it still only holds 32,000 and I’ve only ever struggled to get tickets for the trophy presentation game.

However, that’s the next big investment with a stadium expansion plan recently announced to take it up to 40,000.

They also lack hospitality space with boxes only on one side of the ground and they aren’t that fancy or expensive compared to others.

The rest of the club is basically playing catch up with its own recent on field success but they’ve got good owners doing all the right things, including charging the big clubs an arm and a leg for any talent they come after.

The key will be how well they do replacing those players. They were happy to sell Maguire because they had Soyuncu but he’s looked ropey as lately. They were happy to sell Chilwell but they haven’t really nailed his replacement and now have three good RB options but no out and out left back. Vardy won’t go on much longer so one of Iheanacho or Patson Daka will need to come good.

They’re an interesting club to keep an eye on and hopefully a good Europa League campaign and finally securing a CL spot would really cement them above the likes of Spurs and Arsenal for the time being.

Oh dear. Lost in Europe tonight. Rodgers still doing his best to leave European competition asap, it seems.

Naughty naughty.

Anti competitive behaviour could describe their start to the season.

Whoa. He looked a good pick up at the time but he’s certainly started brightly for them

Still a work in progress, but it was good that Leicester are already planning for life post-Vardy. It’s now that you basically start “replacing” him, not when he’s definitely finished or gone. Iheanacho is a weird one, sort of got his career back on track last season. Both him and Daka, or at least one of him, should look at the good things Vardy does and learn how to function and takeover his role in the near future.

If Moscow could play offside they might have got a draw.

Any idea who will replace Rodgers at Leicester?

Fat Frank?

Daniel Farke.

Why has he gone yet?

Not officially, but it seems like the waters are being tested in terms of fan reaction. Leak stories about discontent at Utd and couple that with these sorts of stories and see what the blow back is about potentially hiring a former Liverpool man.

Also, rumor has it he’s moved his FA Cup medal into a safety deposit box.

Glad to know I hadn’t missed it.

Leicester will probably make a decent appointment, only Shakespeare was a mistake.

Madisson’s been cack most of the year. Last two matches (including Europa) he has two goals and three assists. Looks like his old self. Foxes’ll need that to continue.

I think Leicester and Rodgers have run their courses and they should part in the summer.
