Ligue Un discussion

What a bunch of fucking fannys.

All that and all I saw from the players was pushing

I think Nice are in big trouble. I just can not begin to imagine what will happen when they travel to Marseille, there will surely be some sort of revenge (so perhaps best would be to ban any Nicois from travelling). I fucking hate Nice as a town, full of fascist gobshites!

Not very Nice of them, throwing bottles and shit.

To be fair, Iā€™m surprised that french were able to show that much willingness to fight

Nobody bothers with Monaco because theyā€™re not breaching FFP. They had issues early on but for about the last five years theyā€™ve easily complied with FFP.

As Laurent Nicollin always said ā€˜The fiscale advantages of Monaco FC is more sickening than the recruiting of PSGā€™
5 years was about the last time they paid a negociated ā€˜taxā€™ to the ligue I think it was in the region of 67 million euros which they should have been able to recuperate in 5 minutes, they wonā€™t get bothered again for about 20 years.
I donā€™t think they should play in the French ligues.

Messi makes his debut tonight

Capitale of Champagne
Ancient capitale of France
Lovely city
Like haveing the capitale of milk Winchester in the EPL???

Canā€™t wait to see how all that would equate to being good on the football field.

Though yes I had been told itā€™s a lovely city.

Canā€™t imagine Neymar being happy at getting hooked for Messi

Didnā€™t he leave Barca to ā€œget out of Messi shadowā€

I wonder what the Reims right back thought when he saw that change taking place?

The answer is probably quite similar to his name.

I wonder about Messi. IMHO, heā€™s the best player of the past 30 years. However, Iā€™ve wondered if thatā€™s because he was in the Barcelona setup. Iā€™ve been awed by him playing for Barca but rarely been particularly impressed when heā€™s played for Argentina.

Watch PSG a bit, they seem to have done well against Shitty and Messi scored.
I donā€™t watch tham and donā€™t watch BarƧa either so am in no position to discuss this.

Messi was awful when I saw him play live both times but he is a stunning player.

Suarez has been the only one who turned up when I have.

Probably memorable because the bloke in front of me lost his front dentures when Suarez hit one from 30 yards.

Thatā€™s how Iā€™ve always seen it. Squads built around him, and with no expenses spared. No doubt heā€™s one of the best in world football, and will be spoken about for a long time, but he never gave it a go in any other leagues. Thatā€™s where Ronaldo differs - albeit heā€™s only done it at squads also rich with talent. Heā€™s won numerous league titles, which Messi has not - albeit heā€™ll add League 1 next summer, to his la Liga titles.

Good to see him bang that goal in last night. I assume PSG are favourites for this seasons CL.

For me itā€™s been Ox, Bobby and Div that have scored most at matches Iā€™ve attended.

Would be great if you attended some games this season.

Nah not this season - only CL if I can get tickets. Maybe a FA cup game or League Cup game.
