Give it 6 months, and no-one will be able to understand Flo, either. I see another Molby situation unfolding.
Lessons from Jerry i guess
Get yourself a pair Onitsuka Tiger!
I was just going to post this.
6 – Milos Kerkez
7 – Florian Wirtz
12 – Conor Bradley
22 – Hugo Ekitike
25 – Giorgi Mamardashvili
28 – Freddie Woodman
30 – Jeremie Frimpong
41 – Armin Pecsi
42 – Trey Nyoni
Pleased to see Wirtz as No. 7. Proper low number, and Dalglish’s usual shirt as well.
If Nunez leaves, and Isak comes in, will they hand over the No.9 shirt?
I expect so.
13,15,16 are still shirt numbers that are available. Even if we keep Nunez, there’s every chance Isak gets one of the three numbers.
Wirtz following in the footsteps of legendary figures such as Harry Kewell and Robbie Keane. Hope he can handle the pressure.
We do have 23, 24 open too. I suppose one of those numbers might be reserved for Ngumoha should he continue his fine progression.
Wasn’t far with my predictions who would get which number.
Thought the #6 could go to a new CB.
Interesting that Ekitike took Ramsay’s number (felt he could take Tsimi’s 21). Poor fella just can’t stay fit. I think Klopp said very early that they found issues with him already when we brought him from Aberdeen
Wirtz was expected. Felt in the first months of last season that Slot would aim for a brand new #10 and #9. Now we might have Wirtz #7 and Isak #9, like our best ever attacking partnership!
Mamardashvili and Frimpong just continued with their ex-numbers, as expected.
Nice to see Bradley get a “normal” number.
The thing that usually doesn’t help here is that numbers have to be registrated before the start of the season.
I think if Nunez plays a minute before Isak arrives, Isak won’t be able to get #9 this season, he’ll have to wait for next season.
If they haven’t changed the rules again…
Not really possible to take a number from someone who’s still a member of the LFC first squad.
Taking the number from Ramsay is another thing as there’s no future for him in the club.
15 might not be a bad number for Isak. He reminds me quite a bit of prime dan Sturridge.
I think it can be the No 9 that swings both ways: Rush, Fowler, Firmino. But also: Carroll, Diouf, Lambert.
They were the best of times. They were the worst of times…
7 had Milner , Diaz and Suarez I think too.
It’s possible, if players agree. We’ve had swaps before. Kewell took Smicer’s #7 immediately and Smicer became #11.
Looknat that gap between Torres and Firmino.
10 straight years. Transfermarkt made a mistake, Firmino was still #11 in 16/17. He became #9 the following summer.
Give him the 15, the new Peter Crouch lol
Interesting Rio keeps his 73
