Excellent. Good for Darwin to get goals, when the social media murmurs obviously bothered him.
Also, I like Bajcetic. Nice little heads up from @ILLOK who mentioned him a while back as one to look out for in the #6 role

That was good. It was hard to take the Far East games seriously. They were more like exhibition matches and I didnāt learn a lot from them but tonight we looked like us. Chuffed for Nunez. Pen was a bit sketchy but it turned out to be an inspired decision to let him take it because the confidence lift was obvious after that. The second goal was a great finish.
I really like Carvalho. I started watching him at Fulham after it was clear we were going to buy him and heās a terrific player. Heās not going to struggle with the step up in quality in the PL. I can see him playing a lot of games this season.

Great stuff all around and particularly encouraging to see the youngsters doing so well. Davies looks a decent keeper and Bajcetic looks another good find. Elliot and Carvalho look like fulfilling their expectations and Jones continues to look the part but I don`t suppose we consider him a youngster any more 
.
Not a bad performance in the team and what can you say about Nunez, just excellent. Hope the team can keep this progress going into the league.

Klopp just said in an interview that it was a really nice gesture that Salah let Nunuez take the penalty, since he would normally have liked to have done it himself. Also a sign of how well things work within the team atm.

Feels like having Bobby as false 9 in the first half, and then proper 9 with Darwin in the 2nd half totally confused the oppositions on how to defend against our forwards.

Good professional 1st half to wear them down, then with the injection of the youth, i.e Millie, we upped the tempo and killed them off.
Some great pointers for the season and seems we have great strength in depth for the upcoming season to change the flow of games

Squad traveling to Austria now for Klopps favorite part of a preseason - some nice high altitude training to improve the endurance / fitness.
Hope the players took their asthma inhalers with them.
