Two weeks’ break, woohoo. Hope the players are given a week’s rest before resuming training. Maybe we will have Thiago, Elliott, and Origi match-ready during this break. February is going to be a huge month, we could be winning a trophy and taking definitive strides for winning three other.

So, we have now a first team squad where in best case scenario (all players fit, which of course rarely happens in football these days), we’ll have 5 senior players in the stands. That’s for league games and then 2 senior players in the stands in the CL.
Seven games in 22 days. There should be lots of rotations, everyone in the squad has to make them count.

The FA Cup round of 16 tie is scheduled to take place in the mid-week at the start of March, currently penciled in as Wednesday, March 2. The tie, as it stands, sits between the League Cup final against Chelsea on February 27 and West Ham‘s trip to Anfield on March 5.
