Liverpool v Fulham - Carabao Cup SF 1st Leg - Wednesday 10th January 20:00

Guess commonplace for youngsters - Klopp was saying in late Dec he could train and then be out for weeks, and that it was all in the hands of the medical staff. I remember Gerrard had similar issues early in his career, and we also saw Curtis suffer these kinds of issues a couple of years back.

Here’s hoping his head remains in it and he gets back to playing soon - a real talent that lad.

I think nobody said Bajcetic is lost for the season, but that they’re working with him on his physique. Growing issues and stuff, needs to get stronger. Klopp said he could train, but the doctors are saying no for now. Of course you’d still hope he could become available at some point.

I think we have to consider this season a write off for Stefan. We’re already half way through, there is no return date, and it seems a more esoteric situation related to his age, rather than a specific injury. Also, if this season goes the way we want it to, we want have the ability to give rehab minutes to Bajcetic.

At this rate, any sign of life of Bajcetic would be progress.

Maybe, but I’m not one of those that think in a way “don’t expect anything and you’ll never be disappointed”. If he’s not written off for this season, I’m very welcome to see him available, if he is. Even if it’s for one game. Same goes for Thiago. I know it’s a trend these days to write off everything, pretend like they’re dead and we’ll never see him again. But every bit helps.

We’re not getting the full story. Now take it to the Midfield thread.

It will be tricky. Whoever wins this tie is favourite for the cup in my opinion.
We have something about us at the moment. Klopp’s on fire!

Great news, Alexander-Arnold will be out for a few weeks with a minor lateral ligament tear.

Conor Bradley our only right back until after Chelsea……

Total disaster.

Time for Bradley to get some game time.

Pep confirmed that both Robba and Kostas should be back by the end of the month, that will help lighten the load on Gomez/let him move to RB to cover trent.

Three weeks according to Pep

Blow, but luckily it’s not too long.

Gomez now our main full back + a couple of our kids right and left.

Other alternatives might be something like Quansah at RB, with Gomez coming infield from LB, because Mac will need help now, which Trent’s hybrid role provided.

Other options could be playing someone like Jones if needed, he could also do a job maybe at RB and come inside.

Then come 1st Feb after the window shuts is when we’ll get an updated prognosis it’s actually “worst than initially feared” and he’ll be out until early May, aye aye we know how this bollocks works. Deja fucking vu.

Jinxses work incredibly quickly these days. What was that one? 25 minutes?

You should have been more careful, no excuse really for a man with your experience. You let us all down…

That is shite news, especially with Cheaty getting stronger :frowning:

I’d consider using Beck now.

That Bournemouth and Chelsea games are the important ones really.

Kelleher
Bradley Konate VvD Gomez
Elliott MacAllister Gravenberch
Diaz Gakpo Jota

Quansah, Jones and Nunez on after 60th minute.

Can’t wait until the Chelsea game.

Back 4 of Bradley Nat Rhys and Beck.
