I reckon it’s Kelleher’s. I think Arne made a point to mention how the domestic cup are the backup goalkeeper’s competition, so when Alisson was injured, Jaroš had a go, but the reason why Alisson got that one game was to ease him back and give him some rhythm.

Surely 5 days between games is ample time to recover? We know how badly we perform when we have longer and if it was Saturday afternoon maybe it would be a concern, but I’d have thought it would be ok for finely tuned athletes who have all the benefits of sport’s science getting them in the best shape possible?

Five days is a nice gap, but I’d be concerned if this ended up going to extra time again. That would be brutal.

Yes I am aware, I was just making light of his current position. I expect that now that there’s less pressure for the rest of the season though he might get more game time.
Arne has already gone on record about how he thinks there are many players who deserve to play, but because he prefers to work with a smaller team, they don’t get that playing time they deserve.
If he was outperforming the other forwards in training then he would be playing.
