Liverpool v Sunderland (EPL 3/12/25 20:15)

Nearly

No, a low bar is going into the game hoping we don’t concede in the first ten minutes. 0-0 at half time is perfectly OK.

Some of you need to wake up to the reality of what it actually looks like to recover the a 10 game run of awful form.

Maybe not ‘fine’ but better than getting destroyed in first half like in some recent games.

Also, Sunderland a far better team than West Ham

Corner Sunderland…

They are well organised in all facets defensively

Carragher appears to have not been paying much attention to Sunderland this year.

What a waste of 45mins that was. Disgraceful.

@Mascot you the most positive mod ever… until you decide to write a diss song

Sunderland are a team which came up through play offs and we have inserted no pressure on them what so ever.

Utter tosh…

We should be 10 nil up by now!

Ecstatic with that half.

Don’t really understand why ‘recently promoted’ is relevant. They’re 6th in the league and deservedly so.

We should still be beating them of course and think we will

Konate started poorly, again, but seemed to get to grips with the challenge of Brobbey as the half went on - which is encouraging

I’ve turned the commentary off, can’t listen to anymore.

I really don’t like the way we’re playing football at the moment, but there’s no point in getting upset about it. We just somehow have to manage to score one more goal than our opponent right?

Is Isak on the pitch?

Who have been a revelation this year and so are showing up high in confidence, and confidence that is well earned from how well they’ve done.

Not at the moment, it’s half time.

Sometimes I genuinely wonder if your entire experience of football comes from computer games.

When a team is coming off an appalling run of form, you have to build it back. You can’t just switch it back on.

The first step is to stop conceeding soft goals in the first half of games of football and giving yourself a mountain to climb.

Also, if your analysis of Sunderland is ‘newly promoted team’ you need to pay attention. They are really good and are in the European places with a third of the season gone entirely on merit.
