I agree tbh. We need to stop expecting a prime Klopp team. We’re still coming out of a crisis so a few boring games with clean sheets and nicking goals will do. Points on the board and something to build on

Sunderland are also a genuine challenge who deserve credit, and today are playing with the freedom of knowing no one will criticize them if they lose.

Carragher appears to have not been paying much attention to Sunderland this year.

Id normally agree but hes saying nothing we can’t see with our own eyes. This is terrible boring football so slow.

We are a team putting one foot in front of the other. There is nothing wrong with the performance in that context. We have to keep it tight, do the basics and keep it simple, and build our way into the game.

We are not going to snap back into amazing, slick football. It is going to take time.

Sometimes I genuinely wonder if your entire experience of football comes from computer games.

When a team is coming off an appalling run of form, you have to build it back. You can’t just switch it back on.

The first step is to stop conceeding soft goals in the first half of games of football and giving yourself a mountain to climb.

Also, if your analysis of Sunderland is ‘newly promoted team’ you need to pay attention. They are really good and are in the European places with a third of the season gone entirely on merit.
