Liverpool vs Atalanta: Europa League, QF-first-leg, Thursday, April 11, 20:00 Hrs

There will never be a time where one states winning 2 cups in a single season would be seen as anything other than successful…nevermind controversial, no matter how late in the season you are.

The only difference is the disappointment increases and probably takes longer to get over should you fall at the last hurdle.

If the board game you’re playing isn’t the original Monopoly, then you’ve got it all wrong  , enjoy tonight.

It strikes me how tired Kloppo looks. Totally spent.

This club really takes its toll on our managers, doesn’t it…

I agree it should be like that, but for some it isn’t, either because they devaluate the Europa League and the domestic cups, or because in Jürgen’s last season, nothing but the best is good enough for them emotionally, because they want Jürgen to get the best farewell and etc.
I don’t really criticise such people, because I understand where they are coming from emotionally even if I think differently (the we must win the league in his last season thing now when we have a great chance), but I wanted to argue the opposite.

I imagine it’s how we feel after watching a game, win or lose, it is draining, then multiply it by 1000 for Jurgen who lives and breathes it every fucking day (morning noon and night), and is the man in charge of something that is important to millions of Liveprool fans. I’m tired thinking about it.

Tonight could be his last European night at Anfield - I might have gone up for it but alas never got the ticket. Hope we make the Semi so I can get up to Anfield for Klopps final European night under in charge.

Our goal scoring problems only seem to happen against shit teams like United.

We should have no problems scoring them against European Opposition.

People who don’t get burned out by a high octane and stressful job after 9 years are either very young or very rare  I admire him for being honest about it all!

Or coked up to their eyeballs.

I had a flatmate years back that worked in investment banking - long and weird hours depending on what markets he was dealing with at the time. I remember meeting a few of his colleagues at different times and I don’t think there was 1 time that any of them came from work not already buzzing

9 years of that kind of coke usage would take its toll.

Hoping we start a strong side. EL is not as prestigious as the PL. But i want to win both. Or at least the EL trophy as a consolidation prize.

One trophy in this suprise season is not enough.
Especially for Klopp’s farewell.

Rumoured side is Kelleher Gomez Konate Virgil Kostas Endo Mac Jones Harvey Nunez Gakpo

One thing he does look since he made the decision is relaxed.

I’ve seen addicts come doped up on a Monday. It’s amazing how they believe that their co-workers won’t notice.

Anyway, important announcement. I’m in Europe now. In a secret location where I will be watching tonight’s game incognito.
Should the result be positive, it will be down to Jürgen and the players. If, Gott forbid, there is a bad result, it will be entirely due to my choice of socks.

Usual 5, I assume. It would be great to see Trent, Jota and Bajcetic get a run out at some stage
