Could always boycott it and mass resell their tickets at this point would cause a mess.
Far more than the impact on the actual team.

Iāve drafted a letter for the board to sign:
Dear Supporters Groups,
We are very sorry we didnāt consult you about this tiny price rise. We promise we will do it next time.
Please stop protesting.
All the best,
The Board
Ps: Here are 100 vouchers for a quid off a beer.
There was a stall in the city centre selling half and half Atalanta scarves today. I do wonder how many are madeā¦and where are they manufactured. I canāt imagine they will sell many and what happens to the unsold ones
I understand the desire for more dialogue from the club - and obviously we arenāt in those discussions and have no idea what was said, how little was said etcā¦
But if the line of SoS is āno to ticket price increasesā (even incredibly modest ones) then Iām not really sure what would could come of discussions or be seen as positive?
Another statement by SoS, from two weeks ago, says that the club would be engaging with the supporters board before the announcement. So either they did or they didnāt.
They also seems to be laying the perceived ills of other clubs at Liverpoolās doorā¦
Itās not Liverpoolās fault that Tottenham are doing away with OAP concessions. What is the purpose of even mentioning it?
They even complain about being told price increases are āin line with inflationā when the increases Liverpool announced are way below inflation.
As I said in the Owners Thread - āhouseholds where every pound mattersā - you do not have to go to the match every single week and if your family are struggling to put food on the table because of you attending the match then you need to reorganize your priorities.
Well the club have frozen certain sections of our prices such as local tickets.
I donāt think it realistic to look at a cost of living crisis, prices going up across the board and everything getting more expensive, and think your access to football matches should be uniquely unaffected by this societal trend.
SOS should be looking at bills, food, heating petrol all going up by 15, 20, 30 percent, see that some match tickets are going up by about 1%, and think āResult! Get in!ā
SOS organising a protest at Anfield for something that Spurs are doing, and Liverpool arenāt.
Theyāve really fucking outdone themselves here.
Anyhow team news sounds good.
Doubt anyone will start but assume we may see some bench appearances
Good to see some big hitters back. Hopefully they integrate back in and help us finish as strongly as possible. We are right in there, and we have played many games with kids and/or a rotated side. Our rivals have generally had most of their main men so far.
Anyway, a nice win here please. Donāt know anything about Atalanta, but I assume at this stage of the Europa they are a solid team, but if we show up we will likely have too much for them.
Up the reds.
You cleaned that up from the only way Iāve ever heard it, or used it!
100%. What they have actually done is increase likelihood of bigger increases in the future - if 8 years of price freezes followed by a tiny sub inflationary increase is greeted like this with no credit given for their actions, FSG would be well minded to say stuff that and just proceed with CPI + 1.5% increases YoY in the future.
Itās more about the semblance of power. SoS seem to regard themselves as the only Liverpool supporters group that matter.
Generally, the team performs miserably when there is an ongoing fans protest. Hopefully the lads wonāt let their concentration go tonight because of that. Itās surely Kloppās main concern, so fingers crossed!
Remember everyone, whatever the result tonight, spelt is spelt spelt and spelled is spelled spelled.
Going through Atalantaās first team squad, that must be one of the tallest squads on average.
Nah his tactics are shit, he needs to have a plan to get them closer to goal so they canāt miss, all Jurgens fault
I am going to say something a bit controversial now: If we win this cup and already have the lesser domestic cup in the bag, while it will be painful missing out on the league in our beloved JĆ¼rgenās Good Bye Season (but we still have everything to play for there and I donāt think the other 2 teams will win absolutely all their games, so that is not over before it is over), it will still be a technically successful season. Itās not the Champions League, but itās still a bigger trophy than the League Cup or the FA cup. It counts a hell of a lot to me at least, and I think we would be quite happy with it in any other season but JĆ¼rgenās last ( I get the feeling that we MUST win the league in his last, I want that too) and itās one title we havenāt won with JĆ¼rgen yet Imagine winning the Europa Leaue and the League Cup before JĆ¼rgen came here. That would have been counted as a great season, I think.
I probably canāt watch tonight, as me and my girlfriend are going to play board game with a friend of ours, but I will cheer wildly in spirit and check results now and then.
Good luck everyone !
You really found a fantastic GIF today. Well done, brought a smile to my face !
