Basically you could list any combination of refs and you’d get 15 posts.

If we don’t turn up we won’t win, can’t rely on anyone but ourselves, 20-25 mins we showed up against Palace and Fulham as well as the bits we showed against Man Utd were dog toss.

I think I’d take the 40 over Napoli than over them three. Our fault we didn’t get at least 7-9 points regardless of a soft pen.

Disagree. If ā€œwe don’t turn upā€ and still win, people often just call it ā€œthe stuff of championsā€ instead. It’s just a bunch of narratives that people love to use to console themselves.

Its only our fault when we play badly. Results are affected by numerous things, including poor decisions.
I cannot say we would be nine points better off if we got all the decisions our way, nor can anyone say with certainty that the decisions didn’t effect us.

We played poorly in matches, that we can all agree on.

Yep, no excuses now…this break has actually helped us…Virgil Nunez Jota all scoring, Even Hendo managing to get a little run about, no one injured.

Go out and get the 3 points.

Hopefully this mid-mid-mid-(?)season break will have done us some good - I hope we’re not rusty after all that lounging around…

Joking aside, I’m curious how we will ā€œreinventā€ ourselves. What will be the tweaks and adjustments. Will we be 433 or 4231, will TAA’s brief be a bit more curtailed, who will play midfield, will Keita be fit? So many talking point for this game.

NEW: Diogo Jota has revealed he asked to be taken off during Portugal’s UEFA Nations League defeat to Spain due to fatigue. #lfc [liverpool echo]

lol … no

It’s unlikely we’ll see him before the world cup.

He’s hardly played recently.

Fatigue, he played 20 minutes on Saturday and 60 on Tuesday …

He is coming back from injury.

If he feels he is not ready to play 90 minutes yet - good.
