I was just about to say that in his final 2 years, Klopp had Pep taking the LC press conferences, but I’ve never heard of us outright refusing one totally.

i just knew theyd shit the bed after playing us…it seemed written in the stars…
winning the league obviously takes a hell of a lot more than a bit of luck, but it does play its part aswell…running into teams in form just before they bust, getting a UTD team to finally win two on the trot as they double down to lift that weight they carried…playing a Chelsea team who decided to wake up on the right side of the bed that morning ( etc etc)…not saying our destiny isnt in our own hands…but…yknow…

Don’t see this reported anywhere else except that specific twitter handle. And the Chris Bascombe handle quoted is not the real one as well.
Twitter and media will have lot of such stories and would be good if we not fall for it. Will wait to see if this comes out and is a reality from some actual sources before believing this.

Unfortunately it’s our turn in the gleeful media potshotting spotlight.
We have finally usurped Arsenal and United who have been mocked mercilessly in the last couple of years. I loved it. Whichever big club is not in the top 4 it turns into fake news, quite funny memes and fuckwit washed up quotable past players looking for the spotlight. Enter Rooney and Rio who have their hand on their dicks.
Slot is a hoax, Arteta is now a master coach and Amorin is the right guy who makes tough decisions. Virgil is a hopeless captain blah blah - how quick it can all turn.
But thats where we are right now in this results world.
We will be back and it starts by winning this cup game.
