Most boring set of games I can remember.
People on here keep moaning about the atmosphere at Anfield. Why are people going to bother when there isnât even a hint of a threat from the opposition?
The standard of opposition in this group was embarrassing, frankly. We certainly shouldnât be in this stage of the competition.
In that case, we should have finished in the top four last season.
The entitled attitude of so many modern fans saddens me. We are where we are; deal with it.

We got one of the easiest draws imaginable. Some half-decent teams still left in this comp, along with a couple of decent sides finishing 3rd in their CL groups.
All things being equal, we should be winning this cup easily, but freak results happen, and the Thursday/Sunday cycle can be painful later in the season, especially if weâre still chasing the league, and maybe even the FA cup.
