Well, I gave my tickets away for today (on Thursday) little did I know my world would turn upside down on Friday. I’m a grown man and I shed some tears. I watched the video of Klopp after the champions league final in Madrid and how he hugged everyone. Just got me going.
And I watched today’s match in the safety of my lounge. Im already thinking of Wednesday now… and what it will feel like on the Kop…
We are so lucky to have had him, and have him some more - but this will be a painful goodbye. Great performance today - especially those kiddos…
I think I’m just feeling a bit lost. But we walk on… don’t we?
Welcome back…and yes I think quite a few on TAN have shed a tear…I did…and still watching Jurgen at the side of the pitch brought tears to my eyes…yep I know he’s going …but the next few months are going to be very hard…yeah…we walk on and savour the next few months…
We aren’t and never have been a one man team, especially under Klopp and we haven’t missed Mo, however, the thought of Mo cutting in and then Conor overlapping would be fantastic … reminds me of when Trent had that role.
The beauty is we can and do change our tactics, teams set up one way have success then we change and they can’t respond, loving it
Just watched the game and can’t understand the criticism of Gravenberch on here. He had a decent game, don’t know about the stats, but he looked tidy most of the time and got stuck in.
Gakpo had a game where nothing went right for him, even got punched in the face, but he will have other days where his luck is in.
Bradley is starting to look undroppable and McConnell was very impressive filling Macca’s shoes.
The sight of Trent, Robbo and Dom coming on is very encouraging for the rest of the season, we just need Mo and Endo and the team looks formidable.
A lot to look forward to in the next couple of months.
