The two plane idea is presumably to spread the risk, in the event of, God forbid, a horrible accident occurring. I see some merit in that tbh.
Anyway, don’t want to derail the thread… the reds are off to Paris. I love our fans - creative, brilliant, witty. Make this a real carnival, a true celebration of everything good about Liverpool Football Club.
Real Madrid are a very worthy opponent and they have beat two of the very best European teams to get to the final. And now they face us. Different prospect that one!
Come on you reds. I’m getting so excited for this and it’s only Friday. Gonna leave work early to start to get in the mood. It is a bank holiday weekend here (Memorial Day) and I am hoping the mighty reds make it very special indeed.

Great news that Thiago is fit, if true. We’ve struggled to deal with the RM midfield the last couple times we’ve faced them, albeit we’ve got plenty of excuses for last season! Being able to play our best midfield will be a little mental lift for us and drop for them I’m sure. Don’t get me wrong, Keita, Jones, Milner have my full faith and if they have to play I’m not too worried. But if I’m a RM player, seeing Thiago lining up opposite me is a whole different sack of potatoes right there.

Nothing, came up in conversation years ago. We were talking about what to do if somebody won the mega lottery. Fly the family (lots of us) on holiday was the first answer. A little voice said “on two planes though, just incase”. Was a moment killer but everybody though, hmmmm, not a bad idea.
