I am feeling much better today with runny nose and intermittent sneezing, but I am Covid negative (Yeeha!), but taking no risk, so will stay at home, so I hope you guys and gals will keep me company.

I have been playing LFC songs all morning and bought one of those speaker things you can bluetooth your phone to.

Nah my boss is also a Liverpool fan so I think he will be ok with me disappearing when the acts are on as it mostly clockworks itself as I said I had to do something similar for Spurs last time, good omens at least.

Those speakers are amazing. Never thought of getting one and now I have 3, one for the office and 2 for home and parents.

I got the Anker one, its abit bassy, but it is fine, I was in a hurry to get one for tonight, I got it yesterday :grinning:
It is so portable. I can slip it into my handbag.

Yeah mine are too, I stuck with JBL.

Make it yourself you lazy sod.

On another note here in France there’s no bacon worth that name or baked beans for that matter. On the otherhand Toulouse sausages are great 1 fills the frying pan and as they take soo long to cook I end up with 1 and trying to get it inside a baguette which really is difficult. What came over the French when ‘inventing’ their sausages and bread?

Anyway com’on Redmen!!!

Seeing all the wonderful pictures of Paree, I wish I was there. Last April, I was that close booking a Eurostar day trip to Paris on Saturday.

I would have, if I were 40 years younger :innocent:, these days I find an overcrowded pub already annoying let alone all those fans in Paris.

I know my local will be overcrowded tonight so I pop out at 2 for a few pints but return home to watch the match.

Good luck everybody, God knows we will need it …

I would have loved to sit in the fanzone area. Maybe one day, its on my bucket list.
Its the Tv tonight then, with all the snacks and LFC songs on.

Hey ! there is nothing wrong with being old. Not convinced about a curmudgeon though
Jam session for me this afternoon then home before 6 for the 9 pm K.O. Probably watch it on Spanish TV, guaranteed a good pic and no breaks in transmission that way. Might keep my lap top by my side to catch the English chat about any injuries etc.
Fingers crossed. We, LFC, deserve this .

I’m with you Maria, recovering from tonsillitis, on antibiotics, drunk a single beer last night resulting in a 3am technicolour yawn into the porcelain telephone :face_vomiting:

Admittedly my youngest had a sick bug last week so might be that, but either way I’m off the booze and likely watching at home.

Oh, and breakfast this morning was a little light:

Tea

Toast Toast
Butter Butter
Jam Jam

:disappointed:
