Bajcetic has played well. There were a couple of accasions where he had an easy pass to lay off to a free man, but both times tried to go inside where there was a crowd of Real players.
Unfortunately, the second time was the first mistake in the lead up to the second goal.
Needs to stay on, as Real with Camavinga and Valverde have the energy in midfield for them.
Yeah. It’s easy to say “show him outside”, but the reason he does what he does is because of how quickly he can shift the ball and get his shot off. You’re always going to be looking for things you could have done better, but sometimes you also come up against exceptional players who try something and it comes off for them.

Yep. It’s a very fast half step and then a whipped shot, with venom, virtually before the defender can react.

I think many here exaggerate how badly it was defended because it became a goal. He was not unpressed. It was not good enough, true, but it’s not as if we gave him space to operate him. His shot was fairly brilliant tbh.
But I know many disagree.

Fabinho has been our best of the 3 midfield players today. Bajetic needs to be taken off today, too big of a stage for him this.
Henderson has been our best mid then Bajcetic.

Bajcetic is doing well. Yes, a bit too casual in losing possession for their second goal, but he does not look out of his depth, which is amazing for a young player.
Keep him on. He is doing well, and he will learn so much from it too.

I was a bit critical with Joe initially, still think he could have done better , hindsight is easy, but it was great feet and finish from Vini
