Good performance so far, better side overall. Shame we continue on insisting to gift the opposition goals though, defending on the first goal is woeful and itās punished by a great finish. Unbelievable that we see absolute howlers from the best two keepers in the world in the same game.
Alisson mistake on the clearance. But just want to also point out his great save with a strong left wrist, from when Vinicius cut right and got another crisp shot away quickly. We all know the score, but I will remind us anyway:
Alisson is well in credit and has saved us on countless occasions. It is frustrating to see a mistake, as he is such a good keeper, but it happens to the best of them.
Second half coming up. We need the Kop to suck a couple more goals in, and hopefully we tighten up going the other way.
Klopp to help the lads regroup, then another fast start please!

Given how our season has been, thatās very nice. Salah looking sharp, Darwin a menace in attack and defense as always, Fab slowly improving from what he was for games, and Bajcetic the one taking that midfield up a notch. Itās Madrid and they have world class players. They were not going to keep conceding and not find some way in. Weāll need to keep going.

He got robbed in the lead up to the goal, but still in a situation we should ahve comfortably dealt with. Outside of that, he has wont he ball back in their third at least 3 times. Heās having a fine game.

If anything Bajcetic was a little too compfortable, got caught overplaying.
Heās had a good half though, especially off the ball. Made a good number of tackles, so not sure how people are saying he isnāt being physical.

to be fair, we pretty realistic on this board. the fact that we still in it is rather niceā¦ but not surprised madrid came backā¦they jus have too much quality
Yeah, heās been so involved and shows himself to receive the pass and tracks back the way a midfielder is expected to do. Really mature performance given the occasion.

I may have been a bit harsh on Gomez for their goal but I still donāt know what Ali was doing with his angle of clearance for their 2nd goal.
Overall I feel we have been the better team just need to be better in transition which is where for me Fab is struggling as he has no recovery pace.
Going forward we will create more chances just have to take them at this level.
Cmon fellas you can win this, 4 - 2 is my prediction
