Considering how bad their defending was , Iām surprised itās taken this long.
The team does look to play front foot football but I had the feeling that the coaching aspect was naive.
Letās not forget they come from Czech level of football. Naive or not, thatās levels below. They conceded 5 (6!), but they gave us a good game, taken everything into context.

Fully expect a stronger lineup than expected. A mix of youth and experience. Expect that any starters, like Mo, Szobozo, Macca, Gomez, Bradley etc, will be taken off at 60.
Albeit winning the EL is priority over the FA Cup, by winning so handsomly in the first leg, we can set up to go to Old Toilet as strong as possible on Sunday, before the international break.

I think itās a big night for McConnell, Clark, Danns and maybe Kaide Gordon. Even Trey Nyoni could play a part in this and get a taste of an Anfield European night.
Smattering of experience around them, but itās an opportunity to rest and rotate ahead of Saturday.
Trey Nyoni surely wonāt play a part in this as he is NOT part of the Europa League squad. And he is also NOT eligible for āList Bā, because he just arrived at the club in the summer.

As such I would like a quite uneventful Thursday and a crazy Sunday to enter the short darkā¦

Good to see Gravenberch taking part in the warm up and opening part of the season at least. Perhaps he could be involved in one of the final two games before the break.
