Trey Nyoni surely won’t play a part in this as he is NOT part of the Europa League squad. And he is also NOT eligible for “List B”, because he just arrived at the club in the summer.

I assume we might see a start for Nallo.

I expect VVD might be on the bench, Gomez has to be close to the limit so it might be he who is rested though also Bradley has to be managed.

I’m not sure we’ll see him start, I don’t know if Jürgen would do that. More than likely we’ll see him come on as a sub next to someone more experienced. Pinnington’s involvement may be a sign that we may leave one of our senior centre-backs out altogether, so he would be a viable option if something happens to necessitate using a second centre-back off the bench.

I think Jürgen would rather play those who can take the physical load, but rotate them to ensure their freshness while keeping up their rhythm.

Indeed, Nallo is not in the Europa League squad, and he is also not eligible for “List B”, because he is not yet registered with the club for two full years.

He’s your stereotypical CB really - broad shoulders, tall, good in the air, shaved head. Has some technical quality in bringing the ball out from the back, can play in midfield. Started the season playing next to Nallo in the U18s and now both of them start for the U21s.

FYI - for those wondering, neither Nyoni or Nallo can he involved in this game as they do not qualify for the B list.

Our current B list is - Mrozek, Pinnington, Quansah, Bradley, Scanlon, Elliott, Bajcetic, McConnell, Koumas, Hill, Gordon, Danns, Musialowski and Frauendorf.

Bobby Clark is on the A List.

I had a nightmare in which we had put out a youth team and were 7-1 down with a few minutes to go.

Maybe not but somewhere I saw an article citing a Liverpool Rangers final being the one they fear for this particular scenario.
