I got the impression that Jones would be captain which presumably means Trent will be sitting this one out.

Should still be a very solid team.

So, basically everyone.
Wouldn’t the planned subs be better for midfield? Or are you looking that Jones (and probably Endo) are unlikely to start the next game?
Jones will still be suspended for the Forest game and Endo will unlikely be used in that game as well. I am thinking we need to spread the minutes for our forwards in view of Doak’s injury as well as phase in Gakpo.

That just seems like needlessly playing two players out of position. I’m expect Gomez to play RB and Tsimikas or someone else at LB. TBH, Tsimikas needs more game time to get up to speed; this would be a good game to do it.
