There’s always Eddie Howe
I fucking love a good hijack. This is what can happen when you start “monitoring” a player early enough.
Me during the build up to this
Putting aside his injury issues, he’s looked very sharp in the minutes he’s played.
He’s out of contract in the summer anyway.
When the likes of Leeds are willing to pay 25 million and play Dan James up front, there must be a taker or two for Origi.
Pretty sure we have an option to extend - why there was no impetus to sell under value in the summer and this window prior to Diaz (hopefull) signing. Most offers have tried to low ball in the 10-15 mil range when we want 20-25 ish
Another meme plundered from Reddit (coys is the spurs subreddit.)
Yes, my favourite goal since Klopp came, and what for me personified what this Liverpool side was aiming to become. Coutinho’s goal that match was special, but for me, seeing Mane rip through arsenal like that really set the blood pumping and helped launch the heavy metal football image that teams would start to fear.
That match also I think began our sequence of smashing Arsenal every season since. Is it 11 games out of 15 that we have won or scored 3+ goals in against them?
This thread is going to be fun - talk of confirmation (by way of lean) will take up to 72 hours. It does sound as if it will happen though.
Which will arrive first, Diaz or The Gray Report?
Or…
What will arrive first… Harveys testimonial or the Gray Report
In relation to his previous form he has been woeful.
still no.
Class. Proper shithousery from the admin.
Aspas was the best Spanish forward before he arrived and resumed being so almost as soon as the returned. There are always reasons why players might not work out, but it really felt like it a perfect storm of shitness (mostly related to our existing front well all being so on form and unrestable at that time) for his chances that season.
Illori was a decent punt, but was a mile from the first team when he signed. What that signing lacked was the sort of focus on development we see with players now.
Marko again might have been a reasonable shout. Where it fell down was the decision to pay that much for him at that time, and I’m sure we cannot lay that decision at Ward’s feet.
Liverpool have removed their pinned tweet…….making room for another big one it seems
Or the deal felt true …
The deal is starting to feel true!
Not good for the state of the forum to have the rumour threads open and close so quickly.
Probably net.
It’s fine, he cost Porto just £6.5m + let’s not forget that two and a half years ago, was still playing the Columbian league. And he never signed a new contract at Porto.
