I guess he must have spoken to Yerry Mina and James Rodriguez who impressed on him how big a club Liverpool is and the relationship the club and players have with the fans.
Itās not just that. Given these are players heading towards the 30 mark, some fans have been calling for the frontline to be broken up for a year or two already - that helps the narrative develop.
The only thing that has dipped is his goals, so he either had a purple patch once and he is actually operating at his actual best levels or he need to improve again. But yes his underlying stats in every area havenāt changed at all in 3 years.
Iāve always though signings make players want to stay, harsh as it sounds Mane, Salah, Bobby have seen Jota come in and the impact heās made, adding another elite level player into the mix and replacing Origi/Taki (potentially) means more chance of winning more trophies. Itās also potentially great they know as they get older and canāt play every single minutes quality can come in and keep up the momentum. Itās what City have done, 2 elite players in every position mainly and zero drop off when rotated.
I see this move as a great one, and fingers crossed Mane, Bobby, Salah all sign alsoā¦ Edwards leaves the squad in perfect shape and even the dreaded Klopp leave in 2 years the frontline is bedded in and not needing completing replacing.

The teams might have been anticipating his cut in to the right and take a shot into the right corner more and would have had their defenses drilled to expect that very move. He needs to have other areas of scoring as well.
Iāve never been FSG out Iāve argued as to why I believed we could and should spend more money and moaned about how Conservative theyāve been since we won the CL. This is exactly what Iāve been wanting, Iām made up.

I donāt think it has. There was a thread on this within the last month - he usually averages around 7 goals by mid season which has has done this season too.
Suarez and Diaz are our two January wins over Spurs.

Probably for another thread, but thatās my point bar 1 season when he smashed it for goals he is tracking similar numbers for all the others.
