Major League Baseball

Love her music. Curious about her discipline at the plate.

Already looking like a classic down in Petco. 6-5 in the top of the third. Anyone else think Buehler looks like Barry Keoghan?

Are you some hours behind… if so I won’t say another word.

Yeah, turns out I’m watching a replay.

I had $50 on the Dodgers, as well. Feeling like a proper dickhead watching this replay all excited.

Haha I was about to say that’s how it ended and then I thought no I better not.

Meta become the first through and SDP and LAD go to game decider.

Yankees and Detroit could follow this evening eithier route.

Welcome back, Mookie lad. I missed you. Now finish them.

Hope Phillies win

Yankees back in an American League Championship.

That Cleveland/Detroit game was back and forth.

Anyhow weekend off and chance to start Cole again 1st game.

Time to silence the Padres loudmouths tonight, Mookie lad.

Padres 24 scoreless innings against a Dodgers team down 7 starters.

Dave Roberts masterclass.

This is genuinely very funny from Scarlett, but also creditable attempt at offering wifely support for your husband’s trivial interests.

Please finish it tonight, Dodgers. Please.

RIP, Guarddogs. The only likeable team remaining no longer remains. I hope the Dodgers go all the way now. Anywhere but New York. Anyone but the Mets. The notion of a “Subway Series” WS makes me feel violently ill.

Anyway, Shohei’s predestined, said the umpire to the strike called ball.

Yankees fan so I’m delighted.

Really hope Sidd Finch isn’t pitching tonight.

DODGERS! Finally.

My first memory of baseball is a Dodgers-Yankees World Series.

RIP, Fernie Valenzuela. The kid won the NL Rookie of the Year in '81, and the Cy Young, and the World Series - in the same fucking season. There’s a nice documentary on the fella, 30 for 30, called Fernando Nation, or something like that.

The curse of Rookie of the Year, eh? Nobody has ever been able to defend that title.
