Just fuck off, already.

Are we any nearer to the 112 charges and their outcomes…or are they just dragging it on so people will forget about them…the Shitty are a very snidey, cheaty set up…

I still don’t get it :man_shrugging:

Donnarumma

Can they become irrelevant again like last season? Loved how this thread was not in the top for most of the part. Fcking cheats.

I call Donnarumma Donna Summer, after the disco diva. It’s a silly little thing in my house, but there you have it. Mind you, it should be taking the interweb by storm :joy:

If you make a tik tok meme replete with video edits merging their bodies/faces I expect you’d find it will…

@Wilkored08

This was only partially tongue in cheek…

I heard from Borson the verdict comes in October. Following at least a few weeks to digest the outcome, there may then be a sanction hearing, so add months onto the timeline for that, then there will be more time to appeal, if appropriate, then more time for that etc etc…

Won’t be settled for quite a few months.

I am not positive about this but I recall something about there being no avenue for appeal for internal PL charges

Yeah, been confirmed multiple times by several reporters that CAS is not able to save Cheaty this time.

Was also speculated in April/May by one of the former Cheaty top brass that the longer the announcement takes the worse it will likely be for them as it means the punishment is strong.

There was a piece in financial times at Christmas saying even if verdict had come in March/April time you would still be looking at another 12 months before any punishment. This was because irrespective of outcome before parties would appeal.

And in the meantime they have bought a new squad and are good to go for the duration.

Strip titles and relegate them down to the bottom of the pyramid. Their way back needs to take them multiple years, as that’s the span of time they cheated for.

I don’t think the PL can relegate them beyond the PL.

If Man City got stuck in the FL that would cause issues for them but as others have said they they can loan a couple of their talents out and then bring them back.

I assume they are now somehow compiling with PSR, a season away might hurt them but Pep doesn’t want a big squad.

Hopefully the Football League puts them to the bottom of their pile after the Prem boots them out.

It has gone on for so long that I have almost grown accustomed to their cheating being allowed. I do not expect anything close to a just outcome.

I hope I am wrong.

That’s what happened to Rangers after they went to the wall. There was actually no obligation to even do that.

Well they would be relegated. Rangers are effectively a new side. The league didn’t have to accommodate them but I assume any relegation will be points related. They won’t have broken any FL rules for a season.

It’s complicated due to what it means to be a member of the PL. Wasn’t the loophole that Leicester to get away without punishment was that they were no longer an active member of the PL by the time they tried to punish them and could also not be punished by the EFL for things that happened when they were a member of the PL.

The potential difference is these are not FFP/PSR charges. Not a lawyer, but maybe if there is some sort of good governance requirement to retain membership in the EFL then these sort so causes could see them fall foul of that, but that is essentially a death sentence style punishment and would likely need criminal convictions, I really doubt anyone would have the stones to try that even if they thought the case warranted it.

Rangers was slightly different as the club was wound up by HMRC and a new club was formed so they had no choice but to start from the bottom.
