Manchester United vs Liverpool: FA Cup QF, March 17, Sunday, 15:30

@SBYM has been engaged.

Strength and honor.

Itā€™s football.

SHIT HAPPENS.

We move on. Thank fuck the players and coaches have an attitude the polar opposite of this reactionary nonsense.

Yes, but the refunds.

If they draw Man City115, then i want Man Utd to winšŸ™ˆ. Proper club, I have alot of respect for Sir Matt Busby.

Iā€™m just annoyed in general but I feel like most of us would want to win the PL game than this if push came to shove. If we go there and get beat itā€™ll be a moot point, but I still have half the glass for the next few weeks. :beers:

I want Cheaty to smash them.

Sorry.

I hate Cheaty and all they stand for, but everything they achieve is tainted and I can live with it.

Utd beating them would be unbearable.

Shit happens when you lose to a 1-0 at end of normal time. But losing the match after leading twice in the match including extra-time? Holy fuck, where is the game management?

You have too much potential to be wasting time on such either ors.

Not good enough on the day.

Without doubt.

However, we move on and get back to work. Two other trophies to win.

we were due to be on the other side of thisā€¦law of averages.

If it was between 3 points in the league that gets us over the line versus the F.A Cup. I would rather we get the 3 points right now.

A loss to them in the league would have been sickening. This was annoying at most for me.
We really HAVE to beat them at OT.

You need to keep up. They are no longer Cheaty, they are now to be reffered to as Man City115 as Ā© @Maria

A good post that summed up our performance wellā€¦thank you
So, should we give the kids priority over these ā€œfirst teamā€ players that just failed to turn up today?

Give it a rest. Slagging off youth products ffs

  1. It was poor goalkeeping and that post is the absolute mildest criticism, not exactly ā€œslagging offā€. He pushed the shot back into the 6 yard box allowing the attacker to finish it. He has to have stronger wrists there and push it over the bar or further away from goal. He has a bad habit of keeping chances alive by parrying the ball back into dangerous areas.

See also from this season: Toulouse away 3rd goal, Brentford away, Luton home - as well as other times that it didnā€™t lead to a goal.

  1. Its completely irrelevant where he comes from. Whether he is an academy player or a signing from Brazil he is playing in the Liverpool first team, not our youth sides, and is not just breaking through and finding his feet. Generally speaking heā€™s done an admirable job over the last couple of months but mistakes like the one for the first goal (or the numerous other times he has done that same error) is why his ceiling is a #2 for us.

  2. Weird that you always respond to me when I mention anything about Kelleher (or bring him up and @ me when Iā€™m not even in the conversation). Donā€™t see you jumping to the defence of Jones or Alexander-Arnold despite both of them being academy products who have both been heavily criticised at different times in their careersā€¦ so is it that heā€™s an academy product that makes you so defensive or is it that he is Irish?
