Fabrizio Romano reports we are closing in on Guehi transfer. Sounds like it will cost Liverpool around 35m pounds including addons. Also seems we are in on Leoni.
Happy days! This will certainly improve our backline depth. And if Konate leaves next season, Guehi will be established as his replacement.

Haven’t seen a lot of this guy and that video was good. Doesn’t shy away from a hard tackle.
Only fail was the rubbish music with the video. Should have been a bit more adrenaline music or heavy to go with the tackles - Heaven and Hell, shake a leg, killed by death, painkiller, killing in the name….
Now I better check his disciplinary history.

Palace also said something along the lines of unless he signs a new deal. So assume the update, following Parish’s comments is Marc won’t be signing a new deal.

We understand the fee was agreed yesterday but something has changed overnight from

Hmm… if Konaté was off it would still leave us a senior CB short, unless they really do want to throw Leoni in at the deep end.

I just read somewhere that we’ll present Konate with another deal again. If he doesn’t sign, we’ll put him on the sales list as soon as we have Guehi under contract.
But, take it with a pinch of salt
