I don’t think it makes much difference. Gives Palace a better chance of winning tonights game and getting Guehi’s replacement up to speed for the next match. Guehi is unlikely to be coming to us as an immediate starter, gets a bit more game time in his legs. Risk of injury serious enough to derail a transfer is probably low.

Martinez missing for villa pending a move to utd. Eze missed the previous game pending his move to arsenal. Doesn’t bode well for this game that guehi is playing :man_shrugging:

Tbh they’ve been unwavering in their price and said they’ll keep him if we don’t meet it. Reaching the stage where we’re gonna just have to pay them. Especially if Ibou is out for long
