Without knowing exactly whose fault it was, the administrative fuckup that put Palace in the conference league because of their own mistake seemed like a sign that they have bumbling idiots in positions of power.

Arsenal, Westham, Villa, Brentford, Bournemouth, Forest…literally all PL teams got replacement defenders in.
Either they had no real plans to sell him or they really stink at transfers

I can understand where Glasner is coming from. It’s just that he doesn’t have a longer commitment to Crystal Palace. If he wants Guehi so intently, Let him sign a 3 year contract now.
If he’s fucking off for the next job after this, Everything gets totally screwed.

We didn’t leave it late. We were clear that we wanted him about three months ago, and left it Palace to find a replacement.
The looked at three defenders today. Today. After all fucking summer.
It seems like we wanted it, the player wanted it, and Parish wanted it. Glasner appears to have had a shit fit and made it a resignation issue.
This a really odd move from Parish. I would expect the manager to leave at some point over the next six months, regardless of what happens with Guehi.
