meh… i think you guys are making way too much of it…
as if we’d not sign a player becuase the opposition manager was playing silly buggers or the transfer negotiators had to train it down to london etc etc…
now if there were 2 Marc Guehis, with both clubs asking the same numbers for him, then maybe theres something in it.
but there isnt.

It is total bunkum somebody from RM or Barca trying to turn Guehi’s head. Hughes is a sensible person he will only give up on him if the player himself tells him he is not interested in coming to Liverpool.
The only people who will save money are RM , Barca and a few Italian team chasing freebies this summer. We had better get him in January as I have no confidence in Konate staying beyond the summer.

Hardly Guehi’s fault though.
Didn’t say it was but it might have put the club off dealing with them again, if they have reassurances from the player that he would sign the following summer then they might just not bother giving Palace any further business. I do think it depends on how the first half of the season goes.

Yes I agree not just the club they wasted everyone’s time but the player they think the world off(not)
Was humiliated thinking he’d signed for his preferred club he even had a video made to say his good byes.
