Yep, it’s this one. Seems like a negotiating tactic to me. That said, the scenario in which Konate walks on a free to Real Madrid, while Guehi comes to Liverpool as a free agent doesn’t seem that far-fetched now.
I can see why once it’s gotten as far as January we might decide to wait the last bit of time and save some money. Also by then we will have had more time to know where we stand with Konate.
