Yep, it’s this one. Seems like a negotiating tactic to me. That said, the scenario in which Konate walks on a free to Real Madrid, while Guehi comes to Liverpool as a free agent doesn’t seem that far-fetched now.

meh… i think you guys are making way too much of it…

as if we’d not sign a player becuase the opposition manager was playing silly buggers or the transfer negotiators had to train it down to london etc etc…

now if there were 2 Marc Guehis, with both clubs asking the same numbers for him, then maybe theres something in it.
