That’s exactly what this sounds.
I’m more on the @Mascot side of things here, that unless Kerkez is willing to go there, there’s not much to this story. If he would prefer them to us, then bullet dodged. If it comes down to ambivalence, then I’m not too fussed either if he goes there. But if he prefers us ahead of City, I’m sure he can make that clear to Bournemouth.
We played this game with Caicedo and Lavia last year, so I’m told by the “journalists”.
I always knew John was great, and now opposite day begins for many.
Mail reporting interest from City is real.
We havent submitted bid yet.
The ‘bid’ is the last part of the process.
Sequence of events, it seems to me:
- Liverpool interest in Kerkez reported
- Kerkez interest in Liverpool reported
- Liverpool unsure of paying required £45m fee
- Reports of Liverpool interest in Hato circulated (ie we have options, let’s discuss the fee)
- Reports of City interest in Kerkez circulated (ie we have options too, pay the fee we want)
This is how the game is played.
Milos Kerekz to Real Madrid HERE WE GO!
All the signs are pointing towards him to be nailed on the 2nd signing of the summer.
It’s evident we like the lad, we’ve not hidden our desire to make a LB top priority (or one of), I believe we’ve made our feelings known about the player for some time…the player has one of his best mates already at the club. He’s acted up on twitter and posted some oddly cryptic shit around the time reports first came out…
Yeah, I’d said it’s good as done. Just a case of waiting for a here we goooo from the main man Fab
Meanwhie Kerkez to Liverpool
What, his Liverpool contract has already run down?!
With no release clause Bournemouth will be quite happy to try to get a bidding war going if they can. If the price is 45M I can just about get on board, as it seems to be the going rate in the crazy world of football finances.
Then at that point, if the player wants you, you make the bid to the club. Bournemouth will have very little leverage to generate their bidding war, as the player will have the power and the say-so over where he is going.
Bournemouth’s choices would then be to sell for 45M (that seems to be the number most quoted) or keep a player who is under contract. At that point he will be unhappy, and Bournemouth use up a lot of good will with a leading Premier League team that they should probably think twice about.
Bottom line, if we want him, and he wants us, and we pay the price that’s been doing the rounds, he will be our player.
I think Hato is the insurance policy, although he might also be a versatile player who could replace Gomez, if he wants to leave to play more football.
The other Florian Plettenberg is reiterating his reiteration that LFC is confident about signing Milo.
I don’t believe Plettenberg is Bayern Space.
i don’t believe your korma is legit
and that proves it
Nah Bayern Space seems to have swallowed a dictionary.
and AN_L seems to be choking on something specific as well.
So he can get a better hair cut
