Well yeah, none of us actually know! The basis for Mane was most destination clubs couldnt afford Mo, but how much is he worth? Who knows. But the assumption is Mane is a little bit more affordable. I just want Mbappe and we are sorted for the entirety of Klopps tenure, he might then even be forced to stay into his 60s with such an acquisition. Sorry Im ramblingā¦

I agree, we donāt. But deep down there is more to it than that from a societal point of view with all that occurred in the past re: Muslimsā¦ which is why the sentiment grows that he is under appreciated, even though we sing songs about being Muslim too, itās all tongue in cheek.

It has nothing to do with affordability in my book. Itās personal targets the players have. If Mane or Salah want a new challenge, they will be sold at the right time for a fee that works for the club.
We acquired arguably the best CM in world football for what, Ā£20m? Maybe their contracts donāt get renewed, and one of them leaves at aged 30. Both their contracts are up in 2023. So in the summer of 2022, are you looking at accepting a Ā£50m fee for one of them with 1 year left on contract - probably.

Its an interesting issue and should be dealt with delicately, but as a club, I am so proud that LFC have the worlds greatest Muslim playersā¦its a credit to the spirit of the club.
