I don’t feel Salah has been poor. True his goals have dried up in recent weeks but his overall contributions (pressing, linkup, track back) have been pretty good. Too many players have been marking him and they can foul him without much threat of punishments, this has cut down his ability to cut in and score. I think a tactical tweak shifting him to the middle will do him and us good.

Agree with his effort this but his decision making in possession has been poor for weeks now.

We been waiting for that for a while now, we see it every 5th game. The unfortunate thing is, an average Mo is still the best option down the right.

He has been poor since his agent started being a prick via the media, or coming back from the AFCON… We will never fully know, but to say he’s playing like he did first half of the season would be incorrect, he was dominating everything and everyone. So in short he is no longer a god, but a really really good player.
Currently he is very easy to defend, his movement has gone very very static. Must have tried to dribble into the box past 3 players about 10 times last night, and his shooting is way off, don’t think he hit the target once again either.
Why would you want to move him central btw? He has been made into the best right winger as someone who exploits the space left by a false no.9 in the middle. Put him there as a starting position and he will be crowded out all game and even more ineffective.
