For the last two chances, he stands in the middle of the goal, every top scorer goes for his chance then.
For the other ones, he should have played the ball to Diaz.

Come on it’s taken him 5 years and several public and private bust ups to learn to pass to Mane… What does Diaz expect after 3 months.
This weekend was possibly his worst game for us since he joined, and because of the issue you raised. Recently a lot of the complaints have been about his touch being off, not looking physically there, but on Saturday it was his decision making. There were probably 10 passes he made that weren’t so much misplaced, but where it wasnt apparent who he even thought he was trying to pass it to. It was a bizarre series of decisions. Most of the time it looked like he thought the whistle had been blown and he was just knocking it back to a spurs player for them to take the free kick. There one where Loris cleared it straight to him and he just aimlessly lifted the ball into the center of a group of 4 spurs players when there were multiple other balls on kind of exemplified the overall performance, like he was Fowler missing a penalty against Arsenal on purpose because he knew it wasn’t a foul
EDIT: Ugh, I would have defended him aggressively over the one where Davis made the sliding block, but I had no idea Diaz was in such a good position with such an easy pass

The Diaz non pass happened several times where he had the opportunity to pass to a player who had, IMO a better opportunity to score.
After watching his interview where he stated he had set goals of to score 40 goals, as he become greedy and his personal targets are swaying his decision making subconsciously?

Is it me or is Mo playing really casually at the moment.
I do not for 1 second think he has lost that deadly streak that every top striker needs but he certainly needs to rediscover it

He was being irritating when he came on, that’s the best way I’d describe it, not sure what I thought about that Villa backline it does feel vulnerable mind.

After the Man United game, I told my friends that I didn’t expect him to score another goal until the end of the season, that’s how tired and drained of confidence he looks to me. I feel like a proper dimwit for criticising him but in my eyes he’s done himself no favours with some unnecessary comments in recent weeks. I know that Real Madrid game is on his mind and probably has been for the past four years but on form he doesn’t look like he deserves to play in the first eleven - only because Jota’s form has also taken a nosedive is he starting regularly, I’d say. Ancelotti won’t be raising an eyebrow looking at his performances over the past two months or so.

I get your point but I would start him every day of the week and twice on Sundays.

He should be the most motivated, unfortunately it’s more like the most entitled. There is a stat somewhere, his production pre and post afcon, the post version reads like a squad player and not a starter. Major concern, and it’s definitely cost us a goal difference “point”. We genuinely don’t have competition on the right, the left is stacked.
