Klopp on the presser today when asked about Salah’s contract and the noise around it this weekend: the decisive party’s are talking to each other and that is good, nothing new to say.

What is with all of these peripheral figures in players ears about going elsewhere? Someone was in Sadio’s ear last summer (or 2) and I forget who it was.

I’m fairly certain it was the Senegal Sports Minister, or maybe it was a politician, that was in Sadio’s ear to go to Real.

DOUBLE EDIT: Found what I was looking for. Article was dated 2020, It was Saee Seck, head of Senegal Football that was in Sadio’s ear to leave for Real.

I wonder how close Egypt and Qatar are politically. Wasn’t there a move initiated by Egypt recently to get closer - I wonder if this part of that.

My most charitable explanation for this is that he’s a genuine fan of Salah, and knows that sooner or later he’s going to get kicked to death playing for us while the referees will send him off for dying.
