Think for my theory to have been correct and for the news to have the desired effect of “lifting” the club and players etc it would have had to have been announced Friday / Saturday
10 games is not a run of form to decide the ten best of anything.
Salah is a class above, and will be back to scoring soon.
Then all the doubters will have a guilty wank over him and say the always knew he was the best.
I think ex-Bundesliga players can have that low-key villainy about them, or is it just Son, Xhaka and Hjøberg? There’s a vein of macho club culture here which is pretty hardened.
It’s important that you win, not how you do it
Salah on the touchline, and a Man City player ploughs through him. Ref waves nothing to see here, so Mo gets up right away to run back while limping.
Contrast this with Salah slightly tripping Cancelo, who throws himself onto the floor winning the freekick. Mo then quickly offers a hand to pick Cancelo up and profusely apologises to him for the slight contact. Cancelo tells him to “go away”, and the other Man City players then mouthing off something to the ref.
Just another typical example of that analysis done showing Mo hardly ever gets a free kick.
been saying it for a while now and no one will listen…when your five nil up, go for the sixth etc etc etc…you never know, the title might even come down to goal difference…no idea why its not part of the conversation…
