Could plausibly be that Caicedo has previously accepted Chelseaās personal terms, and heās sticking to his word that heās happy to sign for them.
That scenario requires a bid from them that Brighton accept.
If that doesnāt materialise, then heāll sign for us having not gone back on his word to Chelsea.
Given recent mercenary behaviour, from our own players, maybe Iām giving too much benefit of doubt to a footballer having integrity.
