What’s embarrassing is Klopp claiming it’s happening in his press conference and then this happens. Right now the only thing the club should be concerned about is Sundays game. We have had 6 weeks to do this not the last three days before we start our season. Tough on the lads at the moment.

He didn’t “claim” anything. A journalist asked him - he said a deal had been agreed, which at the time was accurate.
